This year, two Pune-based companies, Genesis Tech Engineers Pvt Ltd and Konnect Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd, stood out among over 19,000 global nominations, securing prestigious awards.
The Tally MSME Honours is an annual initiative recognizing the significant contributions of businesses and entrepreneurs to the nation's economic development.
The awards celebrate the diversity and positive impact of MSMEs through exemplary practices at the grassroots level. Supported by several renowned organizations, this year's initiative extended its reach across India, honoring businesses from remote regions like Unnao, Agartala, Vapi, and Asansol.
The inclusivity of the platform ensures that impactful contributors from various city tiers and segments are celebrated. The honours are awarded annually on International MSME Day and are open to businesses with a turnover of less than 250 crores and a valid GSTIN.
Shubham Patil of Genesis Tech Engineers Pvt Ltd received the ‘New Gen Icon’ award. Genesis Tech Engineers specializes in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping) system design for diverse industries, including semiconductor infrastructure, energy sector power plants, solar infrastructure, transportation, space, and chemical-oil-gas designs.
The company ensures compliance with engineering standards and local government policies, offers comprehensive project management solutions, and focuses on innovation and automation through its Special Project R&D Department.
Kavita Chakraborty of Konnect Consultancy Services Pvt Ltd was honored in the ‘Wonder Woman’ category. The company provides comprehensive financial services, including bookkeeping, taxation, and payroll, primarily to the export sector. By utilizing both online and traditional sales channels, Konnect Consultancy Services has achieved steady growth, expanding its client base and enhancing customer satisfaction.
The awards, celebrated across four zones (East, West, North, and South) of the country, were given in five categories:
