Pune: Luxury co-living brand Housr is aiming for aggressive growth, targeting ₹150 crore in revenue and expanding to 100 properties by March 2025.

With plans to launch over 3,000 additional beds in approximately 30 new properties across seven cities, Housr’s total bed count will exceed 8,000 across 100 properties by the end of the fiscal year.

The company is also exploring new markets, including Chennai and Chandigarh, and plans to deliver 11-12 properties currently in development over the next 3-4 months. The company boasts an impressive average occupancy rate of 95-98%, reflecting its ability to adapt to shifting market demands.

“We are delivering 3-4 properties per month in our existing markets, keeping us on track to meet our goal of 100 properties by March 2025,” said Deepak Anand, Co-founder & CEO of Housr.

“Before the pandemic, twin-sharing rooms were the preferred option. Now, the demand has shifted towards single occupancy and more private spaces, especially 1 BHK units, which is why we are expanding our inventory to meet this growing demand.”

Over the past two years, Housr has tripled in size, driven by both organic and inorganic growth. "We’ve seen tenants willing to pay more for enhanced amenities and larger living spaces. This has led us to transition from offering premium to super-premium products," Anand explained.

Housr is focusing on high-demand areas such as Golf Course Road and South City in Gurugram, HSR Layout in Bangalore, and Kondapur and Madhapur in Hyderabad.

In addition to its super-premium offerings, Housr has attracted corporate clients leasing entire buildings for employee housing, a sector Anand described as an untapped market in co-living.

"Companies that previously housed employees in luxury hotels are now turning to us for long-term stays, providing a new revenue stream for our business."

Currently operating at an annual run rate of ₹100 crore, Housr is on track to double this figure to ₹150 crore over the next 12-15 months. Its portfolio includes over 5,000 operational beds across 74 properties in five cities: Gurugram, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Vizag.
