Amitabh Bachchan, often hailed as the 'Megastar of Bollywood,' has been a towering figure in Indian cinema for several decades. Known for his iconic roles in films like Coolie, Don, and Zanjeer, Bachchan continues to be adored by audiences of all ages, even at the age of 90.
Despite his immense success and global fame, what stands out the most is his humility, which was on full display recently when he issued a public apology.
In a recent video shared on social media, Bachchan apologized to his fans for incorrectly speaking Marathi in one of his earlier posts.
A few days ago, the veteran actor had posted a video on Instagram, encouraging his fans not to litter, where he said in Marathi, "I will not create trash." While the message was well-intentioned, his pronunciation of the Marathi phrase was slightly off.
It was none other than renowned playback singer Sudesh Bhosle who noticed the error and brought it to Bachchan’s attention. Upon realizing his mistake, Bachchan did what few would – he posted another video, not only correcting the pronunciation but also apologizing to his fans for the mistake.
In the video, he humbly said, "In one of the videos, I made a pronunciation mistake. So I am redoing it. Please forgive me." This simple yet powerful gesture has earned him even more respect from his admirers, who took to social media to praise the actor.
One fan commented, "This is why we love you so much," while another wrote, "You are incredible, sir." Many fans also noted his impeccable sense of responsibility and humility, saying, "You are so punctual and accurate, there's so much to learn from you."
The video quickly garnered thousands of likes and heart emojis from fans who continue to be inspired by the actor's persona both on and off the screen.
