Popular Marathi actress Apurva Nemlekar, known for her roles in various TV shows, recently revealed the reasons behind her sudden exit from the highly successful show 'Ratris Khel Chale.' Apurva, who gained massive popularity playing the character of Shevanta, has now spoken about the behind-the-scenes turmoil that led to her decision to leave.

In a candid interview on Rajshri Marathi’s segment “Tichi Goshta,” Apurva shared how her hard work and dedication to the role were undermined by the show’s producers and channel head.

According to Apurva, during a disagreement, they told her that her portrayal of Shevanta wasn’t exceptional and that any other actress could have done just as well, crediting the success of the character to the script rather than her performance.

This rejection, especially after the personal challenges she had faced and the sacrifices she made for the role, left her hurt and disappointed.

Apurva also highlighted financial disagreements as a significant reason for her departure. She explained that her requests were not excessive but essential to support her household.

When the makers didn’t meet her basic financial expectations, and she raised her voice, it was met with resistance. “This is all a money game,” she stated, adding that no one was going to support her just because she played Shevanta.

The situation escalated further when personal insults were directed at her, particularly regarding her father, who had recently passed away. Apurva expressed that this deeply affected her, and she couldn’t tolerate the disrespect, especially on such a sensitive matter.

Eventually, she chose to walk away from the show, standing by her decision to no longer endure such treatment. For the first time, Apurva has shared her side of the story, putting an end to the speculations surrounding her sudden exit from 'Ratris Khel Chale.'
