The drama on 'Bigg Boss Marathi 5' continues to captivate audiences, with the show performing exceptionally well in TRP ratings. From intriguing tasks to unexpected performances by contestants, viewers are glued to their screens.

While new contestants are gaining popularity, the show has also sparked reactions from former contestants, many of whom have been vocal about their opinions on the current players.

One such instance involved popular actress Meera Jagannath, who was a notable contestant in 'Bigg Boss Marathi 3'. Recently, she shared her thoughts on Ankita Walawalkar’s gameplay in the current season, expressing her disapproval. However, instead of rallying support, Meera found herself at the receiving end of netizens' criticism.

In a recent episode, Ankita Walawalkar was seen offering advice to fellow contestant Suraj, pointing out that he was not fully grasping the dynamics of the game and was not getting enough camera time. Ankita was trying to help Suraj by telling him what strategies to follow to improve his gameplay.

Meera Jagannath, however, took issue with this, and shortly after the episode aired, she posted a critical remark on social media. Meera's post suggested that Ankita plays her own way and unnecessarily advises others. She wrote, "Ankita plays however she wants and tries to stop others. Suraj, play the way you want to."

What Meera likely did not anticipate was the strong backlash her post received from fans. Social media users quickly pointed out that Meera's own performance in her season wasn’t without flaws.

One netizen wrote, “Everyone remembers how you played in your season, and that’s why you were evicted. Bigg Boss kept you till the end, and now you’re comparing yourself to Ankita?”

Another user added, "We know how you played, so stop acting like a know-it-all. The audience is smart enough to understand who’s playing well and who’s not."

A third viewer defended Ankita, stating, "Ankita was giving Suraj good advice, and she wasn’t wrong. Suraj isn’t performing well, and it’s obvious. Meera, there’s no need for you to comment."

The backlash reflects the strong opinions viewers hold about the show, and while Meera might have been trying to offer her perspective, it seems that her criticism backfired, with most fans siding with Ankita in this situation
