Neelam Karale

The much-anticipated movie 'Like Aani Subscribe' keeps its audience hooked from start to finish with an intriguing storyline centered around the influence of social media.

The film’s trailer generated excitement and curiosity, hinting at the mystery woven into the plot. And when that mystery unfolds at the climax, it leaves viewers in shock, making it a must-watch for thriller enthusiasts.

The movie follows the lives of two young women, Khushi (played by Jui Bhagwat) and Shruti (Rajasi Bhave), who are best friends living together in Mumbai, each struggling to make a name for themselves—Khushi as an actress and Shruti as a writer.

Khushi uses her live vlogs to connect with her followers, sharing her daily experiences. One day, while live vlogging at a beach, she stumbles upon a bag. Inside, she finds a few items and an address belonging to a young man named Rohit (Amey Wagh).

Driven by curiosity, Khushi decides to take the bag to Rohit’s address, but what she discovers there changes everything. She finds Rohit dead, and the entire incident is captured live through her vlog, leading to a police investigation.

The story then takes several turns as Dipika (Amruta Khanvilkar), an NGO worker, steps in to help Khushi navigate this difficult situation. As the plot thickens, the audience is left wondering—who is behind the murder and what was the motive?

Director Abhishek Merukar has done a commendable job with his directorial debut, presenting a storyline filled with unexpected twists and turns.

The performances are solid, with Amey Wagh standing out as he masterfully portrays the character of Rohit-Rohidas, an insurance policy seller. Amruta Khanvilkar also shines in her non-glamorous role.

Gautami Patil’s dance number adds an additional highlight to the film. Jui Bhagwat deserves special mention for her portrayal of Khushi, a struggling actress and vlogger. She delivers a natural and captivating performance that keeps the audience engaged.
