Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon recently took to social media to apologize to her fans in London for declining their request for selfies.

The incident occurred during her visit to London, where some fans recognized her and approached her for a photo. Raveena, however, refused their request and left the scene abruptly.

In a heartfelt post on social media, she explained the reason behind her actions, citing lingering anxiety from a traumatic incident that took place a few months ago in Bandra.

A few months earlier, Raveena found herself embroiled in a shocking incident in Bandra. She was accused of assaulting an elderly woman while allegedly under the influence of alcohol, and reportedly hitting the woman with her car.

However, after an extensive investigation, the Mumbai Police cleared Raveena of all accusations, confirming her innocence. Despite being exonerated, the actress admitted that the incident left her mentally shaken and anxious.

While walking in London recently, some fans recognized her and called out to her. Feeling uneasy and still recovering from her past experience, Raveena refused to engage and quickly left the area. She later took to social media to address the incident, expressing regret for her actions.

In her post, she wrote, "A few days ago, while I was walking in London, a few people came up to me. At the time, I wasn’t aware of the crime situation in the area, and when they asked if I was Raveena, I stepped back and quickly left, fearing for my safety.

It’s possible they only wanted a photo, and normally, I’m happy to oblige. However, after what happened in Bandra a few months ago, I have been feeling anxious and mentally shaken. When I’m in the company of others, I’m fine, but these days, I feel more scared when I’m alone.

I now realize they were likely innocent fans, and I should have given them a photo. I felt really bad afterward, and I want to apologize to them through this platform. I didn’t mean to hurt them. Please forgive me."

The fan, upon reading Raveena’s apology, immediately reached out to her. He acknowledged that he had felt disappointed on the day of the encounter, but after reading her explanation, he understood her behavior and assured her that he holds no grudge, reaffirming that he remains a loyal fan.

Raveena responded by reposting his message and promising to meet him and take a photo together in the future.

Raveena's candidness and heartfelt apology won the admiration of many. Fans and followers praised her for openly addressing her personal struggles and handling the situation with grace.
