Renowned actress Sai Tamhankar has captured hearts across Hindi and Marathi film industries and has made significant strides in the world of OTT platforms.

As she gears up for her upcoming web series "Manvat Murders," we delve into her journey and what to expect from this highly anticipated project.

Reflecting on her decade-long journey in the film industry, Sai shares, "It has been many years since I entered the film industry, and I feel very satisfied and happy looking back.

Sometimes, I feel that I have thrown myself completely into work without taking time for myself, but I have no complaints because my work has brought me immense love and success. Work is my first love."

"Manvat Murders" is a riveting series inspired by real events. It draws its narrative from the autobiographical work "Footprints on the Sand of Crime" by Ramakant S. Kulkarni, a celebrated detective officer in the CID, known as India’s Sherlock Holmes.

The series brings to life a shocking murder case from the 1970s that captured the nation’s attention.

Sai revealed the challenges she faced while preparing for her role: "I had to put in a lot of mental effort. Just as human nature is complex, this character is too.

The dialect was very different, and I had never spoken such a language before. Moreover, the look was also distinct, making this character a demanding one."

When discussing how she captures the essence of her characters, she noted, "I don’t consciously capture the nuances of any role. Once I accept a character, I let the work unfold naturally. I believe that once you embrace the role, it guides you along its path."

Sai also shared her excitement about the language and style of her character, stating, "I faced many challenges, and I had to undergo various workshops to master the language. While it was time-consuming, I found joy in tackling the challenge."

Inspiration plays a vital role in her journey, with Sai drawing motivation from various figures in the industry. She particularly admires Pankaj Tripathi for his unique lifestyle and dialogue delivery style, along with Priyanka Chopra and Ashutosh Gowariker.

With "Manvat Murders" set to unveil Sai's remarkable talents in a compelling narrative, fans eagerly await her performance in this thrilling new web series.
