Bollywood’s rising star Triptii Dimri, who gained massive fame after the release of 'Animal,' is currently facing backlash on social media after a recent controversy.

Triptii, who was set to appear at an event in Jaipur, has drawn the ire of fans and organizers for not attending despite being paid a substantial amount.

Dimri was scheduled to attend the event for a fee of INR 5.5 lakhs. However, the actress, who is currently promoting her upcoming film 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video' with Rajkummar Rao, failed to show up.

The event’s organizers, after waiting for hours, were informed by her manager that Triptii would not be attending due to scheduling issues.

This last-minute cancellation left the organizers and attendees fuming, especially as all preparations had been made for her appearance.

In a video that has gone viral, an angry woman, presumably one of the event organizers, vents her frustration. She exclaims, "No one will watch her movies! Despite committing to attend, she didn’t show up. Who does she think she is? No one even knows her name!

" The outcry from the event attendees escalated to the point where they blackened Triptii’s posters in protest. The event organizers have also threatened legal action, citing breach of contract after she received part of the payment but failed to fulfill her commitment.

As this controversy unfolds, Dimri remains silent on the matter. Her fans, however, are divided. Triptii’s latest film, 'Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video,' is set to hit theaters on October 11, and despite the current outrage, her career seems to be on the rise.

She has several big projects lined up, including 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' with Kartik Aaryan and 'Dhadak 2' with Siddhant Chaturvedi.
