Mumbai: Bandra Court orders FIR against Kangana Ranaut for creating communal tensions

The complainant had accused the actress of creating a social divide between Hindu and Muslim artists via her tweets and interviews.

Mumbai: Bandra Magistrate Court has ordered registration of an FIR against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel allegedly for creating communal tension through their social media and interviews.

The complainant had accused the actress of creating a social divide between Hindu and Muslim artists via her tweets and interviews.

Few days back, Karnataka Police has lodged an FIR against actor Kangana over her tweet against farmers who were protesting against the farm bill passed by the government.

After a Karnataka court directed the police to lodge the FIR against Kangana, she has been booked on charges of promotion of enmity between groups, grave provocation and other sections under IPC.
