Ajit Pawar Halts Convoy to Provide Immediate Aid to Accident Victim

Pune: In a compassionate display of leadership, Deputy Chief Minister and Pune District Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar halted his convoy to assist an accident victim while en route to his official engagements in Pune.

The incident occurred under the Sancheti Hospital bridge, where a collision between a motorcyclist and a rickshaw took place.

Ajit Pawar was traveling from his residence in Shivajinagar to the Circuit House when he noticed the accident scene. Without hesitation, he ordered his convoy to stop and quickly approached the injured individual.

Demonstrating prompt concern, Pawar instructed the medical team from the ambulance that was part of his convoy to provide immediate first aid and necessary medical attention to the injured.

Witnesses at the scene praised Ajit Pawar for his swift response and willingness to personally ensure the victim received medical care. The Deputy Chief Minister’s action not only highlighted the importance of immediate medical intervention but also underscored his commitment to public welfare beyond his official duties.

After confirming that the injured individual was in good hands and receiving the required treatment, Ajit Pawar resumed his journey towards the Circuit House to attend his scheduled meetings and engagements.

This incident serves as a reminder of the critical role leaders play in public service, showing that Ajit Pawar’s involvement extended beyond governance to actively participating in community assistance when needed.

Ajit Pawar had recently helped Somnath Khalate, a 48-year-old man from Kambleshwar in Baramati, who was severely injured in a road accident Somnath, already disabled due to polio and a survivor of three heart angioplasties, had suffered a fractured leg in the accident.
