Apply Now: PMC Launches 650 Opportunities for Youth Under CM's Training Scheme

The scheme offers a six-month work opportunity across various departments within the PMC, and candidates are urged to apply promptly.

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced 650 positions available under the Chief Minister's Youth Work Training Scheme, aimed at providing employment opportunities for youth who have completed education from the 12th grade up to graduation.

This initiative is part of the state government's efforts to empower young men and women by offering them practical work experience and financial support.

The scheme offers a six-month work opportunity across various departments within the PMC, and candidates are urged to apply promptly.

Deputy Commissioner Nitin Udas emphasized the importance of this initiative and encouraged eligible candidates to take advantage of this opportunity by submitting their applications to the PMC as soon as possible.

The majority of the positions available are in the engineering and ITI sectors. As part of the scheme, students who have completed their 12th grade will receive a stipend of ₹6,000 per month, while those with ITI or diploma qualifications will receive ₹8,000.

Graduates and postgraduates will be entitled to a stipend of ₹10,000. Detailed information regarding the application process and available positions can be found on the PMC's official website, www.pmc.org.

There are only six days remaining for candidates to apply for these positions. The selected candidates will gain hands-on experience in various roles, including mechanic, carpenter, painter, sheet metal worker, machine tool repairer, junior civil engineer, traffic warden, gardener, horticulture craftsman, sanitation work at regional offices, tracer, draftsman, clerk, trainee junior engineer, and roles in the Disaster Management and Environment Departments.

The Chief Minister's Youth Work Training Scheme is a strategic initiative by the state government to enhance the employability of young people by providing them with valuable work experience in a professional environment.
