Pune: Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut announced that the party has the strength to contest every seat in Pune district, emphasizing that despite being part of the Maha Vikas Aghadi, Uddhav Thackeray remains the people's first choice.
Speaking at a gathering at the Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, Raut urged Shiv Sainiks to fight for their own positions, stressing the importance of internal strength and loyalty.
Raut criticized the BJP, alleging election tampering in 538 constituencies nationwide and claiming that their Lok Sabha victory was stolen. He emphasized the need for Shiv Sainiks to fight until the end, irrespective of who gets the ticket, and to stay true to Uddhav Thackeray's leadership.
Highlighting the party's resilience, he noted that Shiv Sena is capable of winning 160 out of 288 seats in the Vidhan Sabha elections.
He accused BJP of ideological alignment with Aurangzeb and criticized their actions, questioning their commitment to Hindu interests, and alleging corruption and mismanagement.
He also pointed out the support Shiv Sena received from diverse communities, contrasting it with BJP's reliance on Hindu votes.
Shiv Sena leader Sushma Andhare also spoke, claiming three key seats in Pune and denouncing Devendra Fadnavis as a liar who has damaged Maharashtra's politics. She urged not to relinquish these seats out of affection for the Mahavikas Aghadi.
MLA Bhaskar Jadhav encouraged Shiv Sainiks to work diligently for the party's strength, reducing complaints and focusing on collective progress.
He emphasized the need to support loyal members and confront those who oppose the party's growth, urging a decision between Uddhav Thackeray's cultured leadership and Fadnavis's deceitful tactics.
