Avdhoot Darekar Secures First Rank in MPSC Group B Services Exam

Pune: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced the final results of the Maharashtra Non-Gazetted Group B Services Main Exam 2023, conducted on November 5, 2023.

A total of 164 positions for the post of Assistant Section Officer (ASO) were filled in this recruitment cycle. Avdhoot Anil Darekar from Ratnagiri district emerged as the state topper, while Sonali Ramesh Bhise from Satara secured the top rank among female candidates. Gajanan Sitaram Rathod from Yavatmal topped the list in the backward class category.

The MPSC declared the results in accordance with court orders, with the condition that the eligibility of candidates will be subject to government verification of original certificates.

The final result and the cut-off marks for the last recommended candidates in each category have been made available on the official MPSC website for public reference.

Candidates who qualified under the sports and other special categories have been provisionally included, pending certificate verification by the government.

The results have been declared subject to the final judgments in several legal cases concerning parallel reservations and other related matters, which are currently pending in various courts and tribunals.

Additionally, candidates who were not recommended in the final list and wish to have their answer sheets re-checked must submit an online application in the prescribed format within ten days from the date of the publication of their scorecards in their profile.
