Pune: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has initiated the admission process for undergraduate programs, including Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). Interested students can apply online until September 6.

The merit list of selected candidates will be released on September 16, according to the CET Cell.

This year marks the first time the CET Cell has conducted a state-level entrance examination specifically for these courses. The entrance test has been held twice already, and the admission process has also been opened for integrated MBA and MCA programs alongside the BBA, BMS, BBM, and BCA courses.

This move aims to streamline and standardize admissions across various professional courses in Maharashtra, providing a unified platform for aspiring students.

Eligibility criteria for applying include passing the 12th standard or holding an AICTE-approved diploma. Additionally, students must have a ‘non-zero positive score’ in the CET or the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG).

The application process requires students to upload their relevant documents and undergo an electronic verification process to confirm their eligibility.

The State CET Cell has urged applicants to thoroughly review the detailed guidelines available on its official website to ensure compliance with the admission requirements. This initiative is expected to simplify the admission process and provide greater transparency for students seeking higher education in these competitive fields.

With the increasing demand for professional courses like BBA, BCA, and related programs, the State CET Cell’s standardized approach is seen as a critical step in enhancing the quality and accessibility of higher education in the state.

Students and parents are encouraged to make use of this streamlined application process and adhere to the deadlines to secure a place in their desired courses.
