Pune: A policeman on duty was killed on the spot, and another injured, after their patrol bike was hit by a speeding Innova Car at the underpass near Harris Bridge in Bopodi area on the old Pune-Mumbai Highway on Sunday (July 7) late night. The suspect driver fled the scene after the crash. Police are actively searching for the suspect.
The deceased policeman has been identified as Samadhan Koli while the injured policeman is identifed as Sanjog Shinde. The duo were posted at Khadki police station.
