Brawl at Yerawada Juvenile Home; Minor Injured by Tile

The incident occurred on Sunday, June 30, around 1 PM, when the boys at the juvenile home were asked to stand in line.

Pune: A minor boy was injured after being hit on the head with a tile during a brawl at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Industrial Center-operated juvenile home in Yerawada. The Yerawada police have registered a case against the accused minor.

The incident occurred on Sunday, June 30, around 1 PM, when the boys at the juvenile home were asked to stand in line. During this time, one boy hit another on the head with a tile, causing injury. The staff at the juvenile home immediately apprehended the boy who threw the tile.

The altercation, stemming from a dispute among the boys, led to the assault. Caretaker Mahesh Chandrakant Jadhav (37) lodged a complaint, and the Yerwada police have filed charges against the assailant. Police constable Desai is handling the investigation.
