BSF and Police Conduct Route March in Velhe

Velhe: Assistant police inspector Nitin Khamgal of Velhe police station said a team of police and BSF forces conducted a street parade in Velhe village in Rajgad taluka.

In Velhe, politically sensitive intersections, markets, mixed populations, traffic spots were identified and disciplined street parades were conducted in view of preventive measures at important places.

These included Velhe Bazar, Panchayat Samiti Chowk, Mengai Chowk and street parades from the village.

Thirty-five armed personnel, including Assistant Police Inspector Nitin Khamgal, Police Sub-Inspector Amit Deshmukh, five police officers, four women police officers and two BSF officers, participated in the parade.

In view of the upcoming assembly elections, a street parade was held in Velhe village to maintain law and order and ensure that the election process is conducted in a fearless atmosphere.
