Chikhali Murder Attempt Video: Police arrest woman, friend for assaulting lover

Pune: In a shocking incident, a woman, with the help of her friend, attempted to murder her lover by bludgeoning him with a stone.

The disturbing event, which took place on Sunday (July 7) afternoon around 2pm in the Chikhali Kudalwadi area of Pimpri-Chinchwad, has been captured on video and is now viral on social media.

The woman planned this crime with the help of his friend after her lover repeatedly pressured her to leave her husband and live with him.

The incident occurred at Wadacha Mala near Jadhavwadi in Chikhali. The injured victim has been identified as Abdulkamal Shaikh. His brother, Habib Abdulla Shaikh (36), a resident of Jadhavwadi, Chikhali, has filed a complaint at Chikhali Police Station in this regard.

Based on this complaint, charges have been filed against Abdulkamal's girlfriend, a 34-year-old woman residing in Chikhali and her friend, Premdas Vitthal Chavan (28), a resident of Patilnagar, Chikhali.

According to the police, Abdulkamal had a romantic relationship with the accused woman. He repeatedly pressured her to leave her husband and children to live with him, leading to frequent arguments between them.

The situation escalated, and the woman informed her friend about it. Together, the woman and her friend attacked Abdulkamal with kicks, punches, and a stone to his head, attempting to kill him.

The complainant, Habib Shaikh, along with Ramzan Ali and Hiraman Rokde, tried to intervene, but Premdas threatened them, saying he would kill them if they interfered.

The violent act was recorded by bystanders on their mobile phone, and the video has since spread widely on social media platforms. Abdulkamal is currently receiving treatment at the hospital. The police have arrested Premdas, and the Chikhali Police are investigating the case.
