The incident took place around 1 AM, when unknown attackers forced their way into the house and attacked Rahul with a sharp weapon, leaving the family and the local community in shock.

According to the Warje Police, the assailants knocked on the door of the Nivgune residence around 1 AM. Unaware of the danger, Rahul opened the door, thinking it was someone familiar. The attackers immediately assaulted him with a sharp weapon, inflicting fatal wounds.
