CNG PMPML Bus Catches Fire at Katraj Chowk

Pune: A PMPML CNG bus parked at Katraj Chowk caught fire around midnight on Thursday. The fire broke out around 12 AM and was brought under control by the Katraj Fire Brigade, preventing a major disaster.

The bus, part of the daily city transit, was parked at Katraj Chowk after a day of service. Around 11 PM, the driver parked the bus and left. Shortly after, a guard noticed smoke coming from the bonnet. He immediately alerted the Katraj Fire Brigade.

The fire brigade responded quickly and extinguished the fire, ensuring that no one was injured. The cause of the fire is still unknown, according to the Katraj Fire Brigade.

The timely response by the Katraj Fire Brigade has been praised by local residents, who are thankful for their swift action in averting a potential catastrophe.
