Pune: Seven individuals have been booked by the Indapur Police for performing dangerous stunts from two vehicles on the old Pune-Solapur Highway, putting their own lives and the safety of others at risk.

The incident occurred on Monday, September 16, near the Tuljabhavani Temple in Indapur city, when two four-wheelers were seen recklessly speeding and engaging in dangerous behavior.

According to the complaint filed by police constable Laxman Popat Salve, a car (MH42 BJ 6740) carrying four individuals, and another black-colored vehicle without a number plate with three occupants, were involved in the incident.

The accused were reportedly hanging out of the windows of the vehicles, shouting loudly, and causing a public disturbance while driving at high speeds.

This reckless behavior not only posed a serious danger to the lives of the individuals involved but also threatened other road users on the highway.

The vehicles were speeding, violating traffic rules, and creating an unsafe environment for other drivers. The situation became a matter of concern as it endangered public safety and breached the peace in the area.

Upon receiving the complaint, the Indapur Police took swift action and registered a case against the seven individuals under various sections of the law related to dangerous driving and public safety.

The investigation into the incident is being led by Police Inspector Suryakant Kokane, with the police department actively working to ensure that such reckless behavior does not endanger the public in the future.

The authorities have urged the public to refrain from engaging in dangerous stunts or reckless driving, which can have serious legal consequences and pose a significant risk to lives.
