Pune: A family in Baramati recently experienced the benefits of proactive leadership when timely intervention from Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar provided crucial support during a medical emergency.

After a woman from the taluka was critically injured by a snakebite, her husband sought help from Ajit Pawar as she was admitted to hospitals in Baramati and later Pune.

Responding immediately, Pawar instructed his personal assistant, Sunilkumar Musale, to offer comprehensive assistance. Pawar also took the additional step of personally requesting a proposal for aid from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and later appealed to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to treat the family's situation as a special case. The Chief Minister promptly approved the request.

Despite these efforts, the woman's condition deteriorated, and she sadly passed away. The grieving family was then presented with a hospital bill amounting to ₹650000.

Ajit Pawar intervened once more, successfully reducing the bill to ₹50000 through Sunilkumar Musale’s efforts. The family expressed profound gratitude for the substantial support provided by Ajit Pawar and Musale during such a difficult time.
