Diwali Trains Announced: Nanded-Panvel, Karimnagar-Pune, Mumbai Routes via Manmad

Pune: South Central Railway has introduced three new train services for Diwali. These trains—Karimnagar-Pune, Nanded-Panvel, and Karimnagar-Mumbai—will operate via the Manmad route, providing additional options for travelers from Marathwada to Mumbai and Pune. The new services are aimed at easing the travel rush during the festive period.

Pune-Karimnagar-Pune (Weekly Service)

The Pune-Karimnagar-Pune train (01451/52) will be a weekly service operating on select dates. Starting from October 21, this train will depart Pune at 10:45 PM and reach Karimnagar by 2:00 AM on the third day.

Additional departures from Pune are scheduled for October 28, November 4, and November 11, ensuring four total trips during the Diwali season. On the return leg, the train will leave Karimnagar on October 23, 30, and November 6, 13, arriving in Pune by 9:45 AM the next morning.

Each journey will cater to the growing demand for train services between these two cities during the festive season.

Nanded-Panvel (Bi-weekly Special Service)

The Nanded-Panvel train (07625/26) will run bi-weekly from October 21 to November 27, operating on Mondays and Wednesdays. The train will depart from Nanded at 11:00 PM and reach Panvel by 1:35 PM the next day.

On the return journey, the Panvel-Nanded train will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting on October 22 and continuing until November 28. It will leave Panvel at 2:30 PM and arrive in Nanded at 4:30 AM the following day.

This route, which passes through key stations like Parbhani, Jalna, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Manmad, and Nashik, will offer 12 trips in total, catering to the needs of travelers heading to and from the Konkan region.

Karimnagar-Mumbai-Karimnagar (Monthly Service)

Another key service, the Karimnagar-Mumbai-Karimnagar train (01067/68), will run once a month. The train will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus in Mumbai on October 29 and November 5, heading towards Karimnagar.

The return trip from Karimnagar to Mumbai will be on October 30 and November 6. Departing at 3:30 PM from Mumbai, the train will reach Karimnagar at 8:30 AM the next day.

This train will traverse through major stations including Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Manmad, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Parbhani, and Nanded, making it a crucial link for travelers on this route.
