The bizarre love triangle escalated into a kidnapping, drawing swift action from the Baramati police who rescued the boy within 18 hours.

This incident took place in Pimpali village of Baramati Taluka. While Baramati police were busy with security arrangements for the Tukaram Maharaj Palkhi procession, Babasaheb Laxman Pawar from Pimpali approached the police around 9 AM and reported that his 14-year-old son had been kidnapped by a man named Jadhav.

The police immediately started investigating. They learned that the kidnapper's wife had also gone missing, and Jadhav suspected that the complainant's son had taken her. Thus, in retaliation, Jadhav kidnapped the boy's younger brother.

Baramati police took the incident seriously and began their investigation. Technical analysis revealed that the complainant had been in contact with the accused, who was providing misleading information about his location.

The police's technical analysis indicated that the accused was in the Sangli area. The police then detained him from Sangli and rescued the 14-year-old boy named Vinayak within 18 hours. The investigation is ongoing to determine who took the accused's wife and where she is now.

This operation was led by Police Inspector Santosh Gholve, Local Crime Branch Police Inspector Avinash Shilimkar, Assistant Police Inspector Gajanan Cheke, and team members Kuldeep Sankapal, Yuvraj Ghodke, Havaldar Yashwant Pawar, Mohammad Anjar Momin, and Ankush Dalvi.

It may be recalled that recently a woman, with the help of her friend, had attempted to kill her lover by bludgeoning him with a stone. This disturbing event, which took place on July 7 afternoon in the Chikhali Kudalwadi area of Pimpri-Chinchwad, had been captured on video.

The woman planned this crime with the help of his friend after her lover repeatedly pressured her to leave her husband and live with him.
