Final Merit List for FYJC Admissions: 1,928 Students Granted Admission

For the remaining 902 students who did not secure admission in this round, a new schedule will be released soon.

Pune: The merit list for the third special round of the First Year Junior College (FYJC / 11th Grade) centralized admission process in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation areas has been published, granting admission to 1,928 students based on their first preference.

This round saw a total admission capacity of 39,647, with 3,855 students included in the final list.

A total of 2,953 students received admission according to their preferences, with the distribution as follows: 258 seats in the Arts stream, 1,175 in Commerce, 1,439 in Science, and 81 in Vocational Education. Students who have been selected are required to log in and confirm their admission by clicking on "Proceed for Admission" by August 23.

For the remaining 902 students who did not secure admission in this round, a new schedule will be released soon.

Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Assistant Director at the Pune Divisional Deputy Director of Education's office, has advised students to carefully review the cut-off marks and available seats at various colleges before selecting their preferences.

Some of the notable college cut-offs include:

  • Dr. Kalmadi Shyamrao High School and Junior College – Arts (244), Science (392)

  • Modern College – Arts (316), Commerce (388), Science (375)

  • Abasaheb Garware College – Arts (304), Science (428)

  • BMCC College – Commerce (228)

  • Symbiosis College – Arts (326), Commerce (320)

Despite 72,174 students securing seats for the 11th grade in junior colleges within the Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad municipal areas, a significant number of seats had remain vacant and to address this, authorities had to launched a third special admission round.
