Hadapsar: Woman Sustains Severe Burns After Husband Throws Boiling Oil in Rage

Pune: In a shocking incident in Hadapsar, a man allegedly threw boiling oil on his wife due to a dispute over money for alcohol.

The woman suffered burns to her face and neck, and a case has been filed against the husband by the Hadapsar police. The injured woman's name is Rupali Ganesh Pardeshi, age 35, residing in the New MHADA Colony, Vaidu Wadi, Hadapsar. Her husband, Ganesh Dhanraj Pardeshi, age 42, has been charged in this case.

According to Rupali Pardeshi's complaint lodged at the Hadapsar police station, the accused Ganesh is addicted to alcohol. He had requested money from Rupali for his drinking habit.

On the morning of July 23, Rupali was at home with their two young children. When Rupali did not give him money, Ganesh allegedly poured boiling oil from a pan onto her face.

The boiling oil caused burns to Rupali's face, neck, and throat, and she is currently receiving treatment. Police Sub-Inspector Kaviraj Patil is investigating the case.

On July 22, a husband had murdered his wife by striking her on the head with an axe during a family dispute. After the crime, he had spent the entire day drinking and sleeping at home. This incident was reported from Lonikand area of Pune city.

Recently, a laborer identified as Suresh Shinde had attacked his wife in a fit of rage. Suresh frequently doubted his wife's character, leading to frequent arguments.

Sahakar Nagar police had arrested Swapnil Shivram More on charges of murdering his wife Anjali (29) from Dhankawadi, but staging the incident as suicide. Swapnil More, had allegedly killed her during a domestic dispute.
