Independence-Themed Photo Exhibition at Civil Court Metro Station

Exhibition themed on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Har Ghar Tiranga, and Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, is free and open to public on August 14, 15, 16.

Pune: The Central Bureau of Communication, Pune, in collaboration with Pune Metro, inaugurated a three-day photo exhibition on Wednesday (August 14) at the Civil Court Metro Station.

The event was graced by MahaMetro's Managing Director Shravan Hardikar, who emphasized the importance of understanding the historical significance of the partition and urged citizens, particularly the youth, to visit the exhibition.

This exhibition, themed on 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', 'Har Ghar Tiranga', and 'Partition Horrors Remembrance Day', is free and open to the public on August 14th, 15th, and 16th.

While speaking at the inauguration, MahaMetro Managing Director Shravan Hardikar emphasized the importance of educating today's generation about the partition of India and Pakistan and the events surrounding it. He urged all citizens, especially the youth and students, to visit the exhibition.

Nikhil Deshmukh, Deputy Director of the Pune Regional Office of the Central Bureau of Communication, expressed that this exhibition aims to inspire the youth of the nation towards serving the country.

He mentioned that citizens would have the opportunity to see important visual and textual information about known and unknown revolutionaries and national figures.

On this occasion, regional artists from the Central Bureau of Communication, Pune, presented a cultural program based on the theme of independence.

The exhibition was attended by MahaMetro Directors Atul Gadgil, Vinod Kumar Agarwal, Pune Metro Executive Director Hemant Sonawane, and Central Bureau of Communication Manager Dr. Jitendra Panpatil.
