Baramati: In the wake of the defeat in the Lok Sabha elections and with the upcoming state assembly elections on the horizon, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has strategized to rejuvenate his party.

Today, a public rally organized by the NCP, named the Jan Sanman Rally, will be held in Baramati. The rally will feature Ajit Pawar along with party MPs Praful Patel, State President Sunil Tatkare, Rajya Sabha MP Sunetra Pawar, and all NCP ministers from the state cabinet.

In the Lok Sabha elections, Ajit Pawar had fielded his wife, Sunetra Pawar, from the Baramati constituency. However, Sunetra Pawar faced a significant defeat against Supriya Sule of the Sharad Pawar-led NCP.

Supriya Sule secured a lead of 48,000 votes in the Baramati Legislative Assembly constituency, raising questions about Ajit Pawar’s political future.

In response, Ajit Pawar has devised a strategy to rebuild his party’s strength, starting with today’s assembly election campaign kickoff in Baramati.

Rally Arrangements:

All NCP office bearers from the state have been invited to the gathering. Following this rally, Ajit Pawar will embark on a statewide tour until the assembly elections, as confirmed by party officials.

Each district has been informed of his tour, and instructions have been given to organize public meetings during his visits. The defeat in the Lok Sabha elections in his home constituency of Baramati deeply affected Ajit Pawar.

Within just eight days of the election, he secured a Rajya Sabha nomination for his wife, Sunetra Pawar. It is believed that starting the state tour from Baramati is a deliberate move to restore voter confidence and demonstrate his resolve to overcome the setback.
