Junnar Constituency: Second Convergence Process for Electronic Voting Machines Completed

Junnar: Returning Officer Pallavi Ghatge said that the second round of voting machines required for polling stations in Junnar assembly constituency has been completed through a computer system.

During the process, the Assistant Returning Officer Sunil Shelke, EVM nodal officer, candidates and their representatives were present.

Ghatge briefed the candidates and their representatives who are in the fray for the junnar assembly constituency about the reconciliation process. A total of 427 ballot units, 427 control units and 462 VVPATs were deployed.

Ghatge said the ballot units, control units and VVPAT machines to be sent to the polling booths have been finalised through a coordination process and all these voting machines have been kept under tight security at a safe place before the actual polling.
