Kharadi Crime News: Woman Molested for Refusing Car Ride; Suspect Arrested

Pune: In an incident that occurred on Monday morning around 8 AM in the Kharadi area, a woman was subjected to molestation after refusing to get into a car.

The Chandan Nagar Police have arrested a man following the woman's complaint. The suspect, Ankush Raosaheb Bhise (32), has been charged under sections 75, 78, and 351(2) of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the police report, the 35-year-old woman filed the complaint on Tuesday, July 9. She stated that while she was walking along a public road in Kharadi, Bhise followed her in his car.

Near a dairy shop, he stopped his car, grabbed her hand, and insisted she get into the vehicle. When she refused, Bhise verbally abused her with obscene language and threatened to run her over with his car. The police are continuing their investigation into the case.

In a separate incident, a 40-year-old man has been charged by the Mundhwa Police for repeatedly calling a woman and demanding a relationship.

The 31-year-old complainant, who is a relative of the accused, reported that he threatened her with dire consequences if she did not comply. The woman also alleged that the accused invited her to his house and behaved indecently.

When she informed the accused's daughter about his behavior, the accused attempted to assault her. The police are currently investigating this case as well.
