Lodge Owner Booked for Violation of Model Code of Conduct

Case registered for allegedly defacing the land at a private place in violation of the model code of conduct.

Saswad: A case has been registered at Hadapsar police station for violating the model code of conduct by installing an air balloon for campaigning for Shiv Sena candidate and former minister Vijay Shivtare at 'Royal Stay and Lodging' lodge at Fursungi (Tehsil Haveli) in Purandar-Haveli assembly constituency, returning officer Varsha Landge said.

In response to the complaint, the team visited the lodging concerned and found the air balloon built near the terrace of the building.

A case has been registered against the lodge's owner Akshay Arun Pawar at Hadapsar police station for allegedly defacing the land at a private place in violation of the model code of conduct.
