Pune: In a disturbing case, a woman has alleged that she was secretly filmed while changing clothes after bathing at the Triveni Sangam in Tulapur. It has been discovered that the local priest was responsible for this act.

The accused has been identified as Amol Vijay Tongaonkar, a resident of Bakori Phata, Wagholi. 36-year-old Amol works locally as a priest. He has been arrested by the Lonikand Police. A 29-year-old woman has filed a complaint at the Lonikand Police Station regarding the incident.

The incident took place on Tuesday (August 27) afternoon around 3 PM when the 29-year-old complainant, along with her husband and brother-in-law, visited the holy site on the suggestion of the priest.

After completing the rituals, the complainant and her husband took a bath in the river. Following the bath, the complainant was asked to change clothes in the room designated for rituals.

While changing, she noticed a mobile phone placed near the priest’s bag in the corner of the room. Upon inspecting the phone, she realized it belonged to the priest and was recording a video.

The complainant then understood that the priest had placed the phone to secretly record her in a nude state. The police have arrested Amol Tongaonkar, also known as Amol Pandit, for this crime.

The police have since arrested the priest on charges of molestation and for violating the privacy of the complainant. The investigation is ongoing.
