Pune: In a quick and coordinated effort, the Lonikand police successfully located a 12-year-old girl, Sharvari Vaijanath Kadam, within four hours after she left home following a dispute with her mother over her studies.

The incident took place in the Kesnand area on Saturday (September 21) evening. Sharvari reportedly left her home around 8 p.m. after her mother scolded her about her schoolwork.

When her family realized she was missing, they promptly informed the police at approximately 9:45 p.m. Without delay, the Lonikand police mobilized and formed three search teams to comb the nearby areas.

Officers immediately began investigating CCTV footage from various locations. A breakthrough came when the girl was spotted on one of the cameras heading towards the Shivalaya temple. Acting swiftly on this lead, the police dispatched teams to the temple, where they found Sharvari safe.
