Pune: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has issued an official clarification regarding the rumors circulating on social media about the timetable for the SSC (10th) and HSC (12th) board exams scheduled for February-March 2025.

The board confirmed that the exam timetable has not yet been released, dispelling the false information that had caused confusion among students and parents.

In a circular, the board explained that suggestions and objections had been invited regarding the tentative dates for the SSC and HSC written exams, which are to be conducted by the nine divisional boards in Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan.

However, it came to the board’s attention that some websites and social media platforms falsely claimed that the timetable for these exams had already been published.

The board emphasized that no official timetable has been uploaded yet, and any timetable shared via social media should not be trusted. It reassured students, parents, and teachers that the detailed subject-wise timetable for the February-March 2025 exams would be made available on the official website www.mahahsscboard.in in due course.

The circular also warned that any misuse of the board's name or logo to spread false information about the exams would result in criminal charges. The board urged everyone to rely only on official communications and avoid believing or sharing unverified information.
