Kedgaon: A complaint has been lodged online by a person alleging that he was duped of Rs 5 lakh on the pretext of additional returns in the stock market.

The complaint has been received from the Pune Rural Superintendent of Police's office to the sub-divisional police officer's office Daund for further action, said complainant Kuldeep Waghole.

In his complaint, Waghole said Sai Mahendra Karche of Boripardhi (Taluka Daund) promised to get a good return every month from the stock market. But he didn't pay.

Karche has duped many like me of crores of rupees. Karche has taken Rs 5 lakh from me. They complained to the police as they were not returning the money. However, the police did not take cognizance. So I had to complain online.

Kedgaon police are rescuing Karche. Crores of rupees have been taken from doctors, lawyers, engineers and political functionaries in the area, including me.

As collateral, some people have been notarized by Karche. Others have signed the TT form of their own four-wheeler. The cheques given by Karche have been withdrawn from the bank.

When Karche goes to his house to ask for money, his mother threatens to file a molestation complaint while his brother threatens to kill investors. Karche has threatened to kill me. In his online complaint, Waghole said investors were "shocked" as the cheques issued by Karche were bouncing.
