Man Killed in MSRTC Bus Collision at Swargate Bus Stand

The deceased has been identified as Praveen Balaji Koka (28), a resident of Hyderabad, Telangana.

Pune: A youth was killed when a MSRTC bus hit him at the entrance of Swargate bus stand. A case has been registered against the bus driver.

The deceased has been identified as Praveen Balaji Koka (28), a resident of Hyderabad, Telangana. Amar Chakral (44), a resident of Bibvewadi, lodged a complaint at Swargate police station.

A case has been registered against the ST bus driver as per the complaint filed by him.

According to police, Praveen Koka works in Mohol area of Solapur district. He had come to meet his aunt, who lives in Bibvewadi, on Diwali. He alighted from a bus from Solapur at the ST station around 8 am on Friday.

From there, he was on his way to Bibvewadi. Praveen was hit by an ST bus at the entrance of the ST station. Praveen, who was seriously injured in the accident, was rushed to a hospital. However, he died before treatment. Police sub-inspector B P . Shirsat is investigating.
