Pune: Manoj Jarange Patil, a prominent advocate for Maratha reservation, was admitted to a private hospital after his health deteriorated following a rally in Pune on August 11.

Patil has been traveling across Maharashtra, conducting awareness campaigns and peaceful rallies to garner support for the cause. Despite his ongoing health issues, he has continued to actively participate in these events, addressing the public and sharing his views on political leaders from both the ruling and opposition parties.

The rally in Pune began at around 5 PM at Sarasbaug and concluded near the statue of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in Deccan around 9 PM.

Following the rally, Patil delivered a speech to the gathered crowd. However, due to his ill health, he had to sit down during the speech, indicating that he was not fully recovered.

After speaking for nearly an hour, his condition worsened, prompting his immediate admission to Sahyadri Hospital for further treatment.

Earlier, Manoj Jarange’s health had suddenly worsened on Saturday (August 10) after delivering a speech at the Shanti Rally in Satara's Gandhi Maidan.

Following continuous travel, a prolonged fast, and a busy schedule, Jarange felt weak and dizzy, leading him to sit down on stage. After his condition stabilized, Jarange proceeded towards Pune.

While speaking to Saam TV journalist during his peace rally in Pune, Jarange mentioned the pain he was going through while doing the protests and rallies in Maharashtra.
