Waterlogged areas include Malavali, Boraj, Sadapur, and Devle, where water has infiltrated many residential societies. Specifically, 22 tourists were trapped in a bungalow behind Balgram in Bhaje, and seven were stranded in Karla.

The heavy rainfall has caused significant disruption in Maval Taluka. The Indrayani River has risen, submerging roads and disrupting daily activities in Lonavala, Karla, Sadapur, Pathargav, Kamshet, Boraj, Malvali, and Devle. Water has entered riverside homes and residential societies in the Malvali area.

The weather department has forecast more heavy rain in the next 24 hours. With the release of water from the dam into the river, the administration advises citizens to stay indoors and only leave their homes if absolutely necessary.
