Minor Boys Detained for Video Recording Sexual Assault on 13-Year-Old Girl

One suspect sexually assaulted the girl while she was in an inebriated state, while the other suspect video recorded entire incident on his mobile.

Pune: Samarth police have detained two minor boys on charges of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl and allegedly video recording the entire incident on mobile.

According to the complaint, the victim girl was forced to drink alcohol and lured by her female friend to the suspect's residence in Kalepadal.

The girl's father has filed a complaint in this regard at the Samarth police station. The incident occurred on the evening of August 15 at various locations, including a petrol pump in Nana Peth, a residence in Heaven Park, Wanawadi, and the suspect's home in Kalepadal.

According to police, the victim girl was lured by her female friend of similar age. The victim girl was forced to drink alcohol in an autorickshaw. Later one of the suspects, who is friend of the victim's female friend, took the victim to a residence in Heaven Park at Wanawadi.

One suspect sexually assaulted the victim girl while she was in an inebriated state, while the other suspect video recorded the entire incident on his mobile.

Samarth police have registered FIR against total four suspects and pressed charges under the "Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The two minor suspects have been remanded to juvenile remand home.

On August 15, another case of sexual assault was reported from Bhavani Peth area. A 19-year-old student was arrested for attempting to molest a seventh-grade girl on the premises of a renowned school in Bhavani Peth area.

According to the police, the victim girl was on the second floor of the school, searching for her school bag. The accused boy was standing near the boys' restroom. As the victim approached, the accused grabbed her hand and forcibly dragged her into the restroom. However, the minor girl managed to escape and fled the scene.
