Pune: Have you missed the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test 2020 (MHT CET) due to Covid-19 outbreak or torrential rains and flooding in your region? No worries, dear students. Now you can re-appear for the entrance exam. Today is the last day to apply for re-examination. The state CET cell will soon announce the exam time table and you will be able to pass with flying colours.

Students who have missed the chance to appear for MHT CET 2020 can now apply for re-examination till Friday (October 23) midnight by just paying a fee of Rs 100.

The state CET cell conducts the MHT CET exam for engineering, pharmacy and agricultural degree courses. The MHT CET exams were conducted between October 1 to 9 for the PCB group students and October 12 to 20 for PCM group students. However, more than 35 per cent of students had failed to appear for the examination conducted on these dates. Torrential rains and subsequent flood situations along with the Covid-19 outbreak situation had caused many problems due to which students could not give the exam. Students and their parents had demanded that the state CET cell should give another chance to students.

Students can visit the state CET cell website and after paying charges of Rs 100 they can download the hall ticket for examination. Only those students who will pay these charges will be able to appear for the exam again. Students will be informed about the exam on their email addresses and phone messages. The time table for the MHT CET will be published on the www.mahacet.org website, the state CET cell has informed.
