MIT WPU Organizes National Scientists Round Table Conference

Key discussion topics include Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Materials, Agri Tech, Biotechnology, Climate Change, Digital Transformation, etc.

Pune: MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) will host India's inaugural 'National Scientists Round Table Conference' (NSRTC) from July 19 to July 21, 2024.

Senior researchers such as Padma Vibhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, Padma Bhushan Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, MIT WPU's Executive President Rahul Vishwanath Karad, Vice Chancellor Dr. R M Chitnis, and National Convener and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Milind Pandey made the announcement.

The inauguration on July 19 at MIT WPU's Kothrud campus, will run from 4 to 6 pm. MIT-WPU Founder President Prof. Dr. Vishwanath Karad will preside over the event. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Science and Technology, and DST Secretary Dr. Abhay Karandikar will be chief guests.

Distinguished attendees include Dr. N. Kalaiselvi (Director General, CSIR), Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, Dr. Vijay Bhatkar, Dr. Shekhar Mande, Dr. Ganapati Yadav (former Vice-Chancellor of the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai), and Prof. T. Pradeep from IIT Madras.

The conference aims to unite leading academic scientists, researchers, and scholars to share experiences and research in various scientific fields. It seeks to inspire educators and young researchers, support fundamental research in emerging fields, and promote interdisciplinary and international collaboration.

Key discussion topics include Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Materials, Agri Tech, Biotechnology, Climate Change, Digital Transformation, Healthcare, Scientific Temper, and Spirituality.

Other notable participants are DCSIR Secretary Dr. Kalaiselvi, Dr. Ashok Joshi, Padmashri Dr. Thallapai Pradip, Prof. Dr. M.S. Ramachandra Rao, Dr. Richard Lobo, Prof. Dr. Ajit Kulkarni, Dr. Umesh Waghmore, Dr. Dipankar Das Sharma, Dr. Dinesh Aswal, Dr. Tata A. Rao, Dr. Bhushan Patwardhan, Prof. Anil Sahasrabuddhe, along with 130 scientists across India.
