Pune: The water supply to the Pune Railway Station area and several surrounding localities will be suspended on Friday, August 16, due to the repair of a major water pipeline that burst near Sassoon Hospital.

The repair work, scheduled for Friday, will affect several areas, including Somwar Peth, Mangalwar Peth, and parts of Ganeshkhind Road.

The Pune Municipal Corporation’s water supply department has informed that the water supply in these areas will remain shut on Friday.

Additionally, on Saturday, August 17, residents might experience delayed and low-pressure water supply. The department has urged residents to cooperate and make necessary arrangements during this period.

The areas that will be affected by the water supply disruption include Pune Railway Station area, Somwar Peth, Mangalwar Peth, Garpir Vasti, Pandhara Ganpati area, Somwar Peth Police Colony, Barke Ali, Saraswat Colony, Ghodmala area, Jedhe Park, Sassoon General Hospital,

both sides of the road from Sancheti Hospital to Modibaug on Ganeshkhind Road, the old Pune-Mumbai Road, both sides of the road from Sangam Bridge to Mula Road, Tadiwala Road slum area, and the old market area.
