The last month of 2020 is here and the festive season is finished. In November, major festivals namely Diwali, Bhai Dooj, Guru Nanak Jayanti and other regional festivals were celebrated where banks remained closed on various days. Compared to the last month, December only has one major holiday which is Christmas. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has stated some days when the banking operations will remain closed in the month of December.
Note: According to the RBI guideline, banks remain closed on public holidays while certain holidays differ from state to state. Also, not all holidays are observed by all banking companies. Check out the full list below:

December 31: New Year’s Eve
