The agency said that the NEET (Graduate) 2021 for the admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS and BHMS courses will be conducted on August 1 in offline mode. However, those in the containment zone were not able to appear for the exam so they were given another chance on October 14, therefore, the results were delayed.
The information regarding the test, syllabus, age criteria, reservation, categorisation of seats, exam fee, cities of examination, State Code, among other things will be available shortly on its website when the submission of the application form for NEET (UG) 2021 starts, the notification stated. NTA earlier declared that the syllabus of NEET will remain unchanged for this year.
After getting postponed by nearly 3 months amid COVID-19 outbreak, the national-level entrance test was conducted on September 13 last year. The NTA had announced the NEET 2020 results on October 16. Over 13.66 lakh candidates appeared for NEET last year. Out of that, 7,71,500 students have qualified for the exam.
