Pune: Earth from Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s samadhi in Vadhu to be taken to Ayodhya

Pune: As the country gears up to celebrate the ground breaking ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Hindu Jagaran Manch has sent holy earth from Shrikshetra Vadhu-Tulapur, where Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj martyred. The soil from his 'Samadhi' will be a part of the construction of Ram Temple. The earth will be carried to Ayodhya by Govindgiri Maharaj, Treasurer of Shriram Janmabhoomi Teerthakshetra. 

The earth was handed over to Maharaj on Thursday at his home in Model Colony by Hindu Jagaran Manch officials like President Suhas Pawar, Pune City Head Nilesh Bhise, Assistant Heads Rajendra Gavade, Suhas Salvi, Akshay Uttekar, Women Head Nalini Gavade, Suhas Paralikar, Prasanna Dashrath and others.

Govindgiri Maharaj said, “I am glad that I will get an opportunity to take the earth from Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's Samadhi to Ayodhya. People from across the country are donating towards the construction of the temple.” Nilesh Bhise said, “It was a really proud moment to send the earth from Vadhu to Ayodhya.”

Meanwhile, Ayodhya is set ready for the mega event of August 5. According to reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to reach Ayodhya around 11.15 am on August 5 and will stay in the city for three hours. According to the organisers of the event, five people will be present on the stage, including PM Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Ram Mandir trust chief Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.
