Rahul Gandhi to PM Narendra Modi: Take back laws first, then talk

Congress leader reached Rajasthan on Friday for a two-day visit during which he will address several farmers' meetings to support their agitation against the farm laws

In an address to Kisan Mahapanchayat at Sri Ganganagar in Rajasthan district, Congress yet again slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on farm laws. During his address, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that first take back the laws and then talk to farmers.

News Agency ANI quoted Rahul Gandhi as saying, “Modi ji says that we want to speak with farmers, what do you want to talk about? Repeal the (agri) laws, farmers will speak with you. You (PM) are taking away their land, future & then you want to talk. Take back laws first, then talk: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in Rajasthan.”

Congress leader reached Rajasthan on Friday for a two-day visit during which he will address several farmers' meetings to support their agitation against the farm laws. He was received by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot at the Suratgarh Airstrip Farmers and Congress workers were seen arriving in buses and tractors for the meeting in Pilibanga.

Meanwhile, before the visit of Rahul Gandhi in Rajasthan, the state BJP president Satish Poonia posted an interesting video where Rahul, in his pre-Assembly poll speech, is seen counting 1 to 10 and promising farmers that their loans will be waived off in 10 days soon after the Congress government is formed in Rajasthan.

On Thursday, the Congress leader in Parliament also targeted PM Narendra Modi stating that if farms laws are not withdrawn, it will lead to collapse the mandi system in the country.
