NCP Second List: Sunil Tingre (Wadgaon Sheri), Mauli Katke (Shirur)

New candidates also include Zeeshan Siddiqui, Sana Malik, Sanjay Kaka Patil, Pratap Patil Chikhlikar, Nishikant Patil.

Pune: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has announced its second list of candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections, adding seven more names to the contest. This comes after the party had previously released a list of 38 candidates.

The new candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly include Sunil Tingre, Zeeshan Siddiqui, Sana Malik, Sanjay Kaka Patil, Pratap Patil Chikhlikar, Nishikant Patil, and Mauli Katke.

With these additions, the NCP continues to strategically position its candidates across the state, with the aim of securing key constituencies in the elections.

The newly announced candidates and their respective constituencies are as follows:

  • Wadgaon Sheri: Sunil Tingre

  • Bandra East: Zeeshan Siddiqui

  • Anushakti Nagar: Sana Malik

  • Tasgaon: Sanjay Kaka Patil

  • Loha-Kandhar: Pratap Patil Chikhlikar

  • Islampur: Nishikant Patil

  • Shirur: Mauli Katke

These selections mark the party’s continued effort to consolidate its position in crucial regions. The party had earlier revealed its first list of 38 candidates, and with this new announcement, the NCP has now fielded a total of 45 candidates for the Maharashtra Assembly elections.

Ajit Pawar himself will contest from his stronghold in Baramati, with his nomination filing scheduled for October 28. Known for his deep roots in the constituency, his candidacy has attracted significant attention from across the state.

Another key candidate announced by the Ajit Pawar group is Chhagan Bhujbal, who will contest from Yeola. Bhujbal, a senior leader in Maharashtra politics, is considered a strong candidate.

Aditi Tatkare from Shrivardhan, and Nirmala Vitekar from Arjuni Morgaon are some of the female candidates included in the list
