Pune Police have made another arrest in the ongoing investigation into the Kalyani Nagar Porsche accident case, detaining a relative of second minor involved in the incident.

This latest arrest is linked to allegations that blood samples of the minor driver were tampered with, leading to potential evidence destruction. The development has added a new dimension to the case, prompting authorities to intensify their investigative efforts.

Background:

The case had previously led to the arrest of six individuals, including the minor's parents, Vishal Surendrakumar Agarwal and Shivani Vishal Agarwal.

Medical professionals, Dr. Ajay Taware, head of the Forensic Medicine Department at Sassoon Hospital, and Dr. Shrihari Halnor, Chief Medical Officer of the Emergency Department, were also arrested, alongside two others, Ashpak Makandar and Amar Gaikwad. All six have filed bail applications, which are currently under consideration in court.

New Arrest and Investigation Developments:

Recent findings during the investigation revealed that blood samples from two other minors had been altered. This led to the arrest of another relative of the second minor, whose identity has not been disclosed. Police sources indicate that the case is becoming increasingly intricate, with the possibility of further arrests looming.

Bail Hearing and Legal Proceedings:

Today, a court decision is expected on the bail applications submitted by the accused. The prosecution has presented substantial evidence to support the charges, following the defense's arguments. The case has captured the attention of the entire city, with many eagerly awaiting the court's ruling.

The accused individuals, including the Agarwals and the involved medical professionals, have made concerted efforts to secure bail. The outcome of their applications is anticipated to be a significant turning point in the case.
