Pune: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has released the admit cards for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 examinations, scheduled to start from October 22.

Bipan Mahara, Director of the NIOS Pune Regional Center, informed that the exams will be held at designated centers across Maharashtra and Goa.

Students appearing for these exams can download their admit cards from the official NIOS website https://sdmis.nios.ac.in.

NIOS conducts the Class 10 (Secondary) and Class 12 (Senior Secondary) exams twice annually, with sessions held in April-May and October-November.

The upcoming exams will follow this regular schedule, with preparations underway at various centers to accommodate students.

For students appearing for the Secondary (Class 10) and Senior Secondary (Class 12) exams, NIOS has clarified that the results of the examinations will be declared approximately seven weeks after the conclusion of the exams. Students can access their results on the NIOS website.

In addition to the results, successful candidates will receive their marksheets, certificates, and migration-cum-transfer certificates directly from their respective Accredited Learning Support (ALS) centers.

In cases where an ALS center has been discontinued, NIOS will ensure that the relevant documents are sent directly to the students' residential addresses.

Students are encouraged to download the NIOS date sheet from the official website by navigating to the notification section and selecting the relevant link for the October/November 2024 public exams. Once clicked, the timetable will be displayed in a downloadable PDF format for future reference.
